(Someone has been bitten by the Valentine bug. There is a great deal of rearranging and huffing when the video opens. Two tanned hands are hard at work, setting up red roses, a glittery heart-shaped package (complete with a key) and a pair of plush octopi. At the very end of the table, there is a large card and a plate of chocolate covered strawberries.)

Do you think Sunshine will approve? She's a hard woman to please...

I've got something for you. I guess I was feelin' in the spirit.

(That and she poured out a lot of her feelings in the card. It's...embarrassing. She'll probably slip off when Lightning reads it.)

We've been through a lot, haven't we? I never thought it'd be just us. One day we'll go back to Vanille, Serah and all the rest, but I don't think this set up is too bad. Being near you reminds me of how much good there is in the world. I think Vanille felt the same way.

Don't get me wrong, you can be a grumpy pain in the ass, but your heart is in the right place. I'm sorry for a lot of things I did. I was pretty selfish. I didn't think anyone would understand Vanille and I. But you did.

I guess over time I've just -

In elementary school we just gave each other cards and heart shaped candies. They had little messages on them, like "Be mine". Had to bring a card for everyone in class, but didn't have to bring candy for everyone. [Guess who still never really got any cards.]

In middle school you can give cards and candy to anyone you want. Even chocolate! I don't know what high schooler's do...

(She laughs and marvels over how young he must be. Cute.)

So you saved the sugary stuff for that special someone? Did ya ever find them?

No... I only ever got stuff and gave stuff to my twin sister, Mabel.

[Lightning... is not quite sure what she has just walked in on. Everything looked like those commercials she had seen on TV lately. Just so... Valentine-ish. Of course it throws her guard off completely.

She takes the card without a word, making sure to read each line carefully. At the end she looks up to reply, and-]

... where the hell did she run off to now.

[Seems this ray of sunshine is the one hunting you down this time, Fang.]

(Hiding is best. Yes. It means she doesn't have to answer for her overly sappy card and ridiculous gifts. Unfortunately, Fang is not a small woman - well, not compared to Vanille at least. She tries to fit in her closet - the irony is strong with this one - but ends up tripping on some knickknacks.

Damn all the knickknacks to hell!

Cozy, her Zigzagoon, is waiting for Lightning at the door, ready to be of assistance.

[Lightning just quietly slips into the room, standing before the closet with her arms crossed. She takes another moment before looking down at the Zigzagoon.]

I take it she's anything but cozy in there.

[She gently nudges the critter aside before locking the door.]

Now you can't get out till I let you. So no more running away.

(Cozy hops onto Fang's bed and curls up. This is gonna be a show!)

Light...? (The door rattles.) Light?!
