It was...emotionally exhausting and upsetting, from what I understand.

So are all battles in the end. But warriors should fight and leave the innocent to go about their lives in peace.

Not everyone taken was a warrior.

This world does like to throw surprises at us, if you hadn't gleaned that already. Though there's really precious little violence, beyond Pokemon battles.

Which I suppose are a different sort of violence, but not to my tastes.

This one? No. The one I came from.

I've been here over a year.

So this one has been easier. There's that at least. (Not much, perhaps.) You must've collected quite a few Pokémon.

Overall it tends to be an easy world.

Not as many as some, but a fair few. It's easy to end up with a mass of them.

I thought so considering one finds us right off the bat.

The Dragon types seem interestin'...

That's your Starter. Most people bond very closely with their starting Pokemon. Sometimes they'll just start falling from the sky, or blowing on the winds. They really are everywhere.

I don't have much of a type preference, but again, I don't battle. My Pokemon help me at the circus or with things around the house.

Can't say I mind the way they find me - as long as they find me!

You don't seem the warrior type. (Though there's something about Lust that says she doesn't want to take her on.)

I simply find the idea of using living things in my care to fight my battles for me personally distasteful.

Everything that draws breath is a warrior. Every day of existence is simply a fight for the next.

I don't mind them doin' it if it makes them happy, but I don't want them fighting my battles for me.

(On that, they are in perfect agreement.)

That's kinda discouraging, ya know.

I have a few that engage in friendly battles, but that's all. If they want to, I don't stop them.

Why? It's a battle won more often than not.

Seems fair t'me.
