(Technology is grand, but Fang has no patience for it. It's only thanks to her new furry friend that she hasn't smashed the communicator to pieces.)

Alright, is it on? Can anyone hear me? (The thick accent of a female Gran Pulsian is probably pretty startling to hear anyway. However there is an almost husky edge to this voice, perpetually sounding as if she has just woken out of a long slumber.

Which isn't far from the truth.) M'not sure how much I should say. The world doesn't seem t'be endin.

I did! Repeatedly. [Serah can be asked about this.] Now, when we do talk, I don't even bother since it goes the same way each time. We exchange pleasantries, and talk about our sisters and Pokémon. That's fine with me. Besides, I have a feeling she's latched herself onto someone else already.

[It could be a lot worse. She could have turned the gear off right after you insisted she could be in love, too.]

Yeah, my way of breaking the tension was to just walk away in the end. Want to know the truth? I don't think it would have been good for either of us to be together. [Doesn't make her feel less bitter about it.] There's no way she could have kept up with me.

I was kind of busy being the Savior before I got here. [Now she has more time to think.]

Same difference. We're stuck with each other. [Oho guess who has a victorious smirk now.] Yeah. It is.

Your time has been freed up! Time for some introspection. (And if Lightning needs some guidance when it comes to her positive attributes, Fang is ready to give her aid.)

If you say so. (Her voice is gruff.) I think you like complications.

Not too good at the introspection part. [At least in her view. No, she was actually really good at it. It was a constant thing, but hey, that would be admitting that you spend just way too much time thinking about things. Like poets do. Just no poetry in this case.]

The harder something is to do, the bigger the reward.

[There's some things that even in her time in Valhalla she could do nothing to change. Only the future was changeable in order to save the past. Something she deeply regrets getting Serah involved in.]
